About Michael
Michael Akinfisoye is a keynote speaker, serial entrepreneur, and AI business strategist from South London known for his raw, direct delivery and ability to connect with both corporate audiences and young people. Raised by a hardworking single mother as the eldest of four, he carried responsibility early and showed strong entrepreneurial instincts. However, growing up in inner-city London exposed him to crime and loss, placing him on a path that realistically pointed toward prison or death. At 21, he made a decisive shift—choosing discipline, structure, and legitimate growth over his environment.
Starting from the ground up, Michael qualified as a personal trainer, built a successful coaching business, and expanded into business mentorship and digital marketing. He is now the co-founder of Scaling Edge, an AI-powered lead generation and marketing company serving finance and real estate firms. Having built multiple businesses from zero to high six figures without funding, managed over £1 million in ad spend, and contributed to millions in client revenue, he is now scaling toward seven figures. Alongside business, he leads UNQ (You Never Quit), delivering resilience and leadership programmes for young people, using his lived transformation to challenge audiences to take ownership and execute at a higher level.
